This course explores ethical foundations for Christian ministry and applies them to the concrete contexts of pastoral leadership in the Episcopal Church, with attention to character, power, boundaries, confidentiality, and communal discernment. Through case studies, theological reflection, and engagement with canonical and diocesan policies, students should be able to develop practical frameworks for faithful ethical decision-making in pastoral settings.
This course fulfills the ethics or practical ministry elective.
